The Abu Simbel temples are breathtaking, and the harrowing tale of their salvation from rising waters is genuinely inspiring. The engineering prowess displayed in moving these monuments is a remarkable achievement. The temples are worth the substantial journey from Aswan. Our guide was exceptional - a captivating storyteller, incredibly knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour. He even provided us with a detailed map of Abu Simbel, explaining the significance of the inscriptions. The driver was also excellent, ensuring a safe journey and allowing us to arrive at the temple before the crowds, capturing stunning photos with no other visitors in sight—considerable thanks to Landious Travel for such an unforgettable experience.
