What to Expect

You will be picked up by your Landious Travel representative from your hotel and taken to Luxor in an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. Your first stop will be the famous Karnak Temple, the most prominent place of worship ever built, dating back over two thousand years. You will explore the complex of temples, including the impressive "Hypostyle Hall" with its colossal pillars.
Lunch
Next, you'll visit the West Bank of the Nile to see the Colossi of Memnon and then explore the Valley of the Kings, where you'll visit three magnificently decorated tombs carved deep into the desert rock.
Your tour continues with a visit to the impressive Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary, dedicated to the only female pharaoh. Finally, you'll have some free time in Luxor before being driven back to your hotel.

Luxor Temple Tour

An ancient sanctuary surrounded by honking taxis, touts, and strolling families, Luxor Temple’s grandeur has endured more than 3,000 years on the East Bank of the Nile. Linked to Karnak Temple via the Avenue of Sphinxes, Luxor Temple boasts soaring colonnades, elaborate columns, statues, and images of Amenhotep III and Ramses II.

Medinet Habu Tour

On Luxor’s West Bank, Ramses III built his magnificent mortuary temple with intricate relief carvings and shrines. With its wonderfully preserved art, Medinet Habu represents the pharaoh's royal legacy and is among Luxor’s most important ancient sites. Images of hunting trips, prisoner executions, and battles with the Sea Peoples offer a window into ancient history.

You will also be able to visit some other temples inside Habu Temple such as the Temple of Amun dating to the 18th Dynasty, built by Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III. It has undergone many alterations and modifications over the years.

Motorboat Nile Trip

The motorboat will sail to the Banana Island “a land covered with banana plantations”. The boat captain will berth the motorboat off the island and your guide will take you on a short exploratory tour of the island, where you’ll be offered a refreshing cup of traditional Egyptian tea and some of the sweetest, most delicious bananas you have ever tasted.

Our private trip to Luxor was terrific

I just wanted to share some details about our fantastic trip to Luxor. Our private trip was terrific, safe, and super luxurious. I must give a special shoutout to our driver and our excellent guide! They were both so passionate about history and made the experience truly memorable. One of the highlights of our trip was flying in a hot air balloon. We had the chance to witness a breathtaking sunrise and take in the stunning panoramic views of Luxor's iconic landmarks. We visited the Colossi of Memnon, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, and the Valley of the Kings. Each site was rich with history and left us in awe. To top it all off, we also took a boat ride on the Nile, an incredible experience. I can't express enough gratitude for the fantastic time we had. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure.

We had an incredible experience with Landious. We booked a private tour to Luxor, and the driver was punctual. The car was spacious and impeccably clean, with functional seatbelts. Our guide was highly knowledgeable, and they went out of their way to accommodate our special dietary needs. I can't recommend them enough - they are indeed the best!

Landious Travel is highly recommended for its reliability and incredible prices! I had a fantastic experience with Landious as I booked several tours with them. I had a day trip to Luxor, where we explored the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Karnak, and the Colossus of Memnon. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, ensuring we felt at ease and not pressured. We had such a wonderful private tour in Luxor. I also enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing day at the spa and a unique experience swimming with the dolphins, which I wholeheartedly recommend for your bucket list. I cannot recommend them enough!

With an English-speaking guide, everything went incredibly smoothly, from our hotel pickup in Hurghada to the tour in Luxor. We arranged two excursions through Landious, and he was charming and accommodating. One excursion involved a private trip to Luxor, while the other was a group diving and snorkelling outing. The drivers and guides were punctual and amicable, and the meals were excellent.

A tour with no waste of time

Our day in Luxor was fantastic. We originally booked a small group trip, but it turned out that no one else joined, so we essentially had a private tour. We had a minivan, two drivers, and our guide, which made the day very efficient. After an enjoyable and informative visit to Karnak, our driver waited for us as soon as we walked out. Within 10 minutes, we were on a boat to the west bank. The authentic Egyptian lunch was a definite highlight; our young teens loved it. This tour was perfect for the kids as it was their first introduction to Egyptian history, and they enjoyed the day. One of the best parts was that, being a private tour, we didn't waste any time. We left later than most tours and even returned to our Hurghada hotel in time for dinner. Thanks again, Landious.

We had a fantastic experience with Landious Travel on our private tour. Everything was just perfect! Our punctual driver was ready and waiting for us, and we appreciated the flexibility of booking a private tour. When we arrived at Karnak Temple, the early hour meant we could take in the stunning sights with a few other visitors, giving us plenty of photo opportunities. Our lunch by the Nile riverside offered delicious food and a picturesque view. The boat tour on the river was a highlight, and our visits to the Valley of Kings, the Hatshepsut Temple, and the Temple of Amenophis III were made even more enjoyable thanks to our informative guide. We had the guide all to ourselves, and he provided us with a wealth of knowledge about each destination, patiently answering all our questions.
