What to Expect
- Your tour guide will meet you either at your hotel in Luxor/Aswan, on a Nile cruise, or at the Aswan airport to begin an exciting day tour of Aswan. Your first stop will be the impressive High Dam, a remarkable engineering feat constructed in 1960 to shield Egypt from the Nile River's annual floods.
- Afterwards, you'll visit the Unfinished Obelisk to witness the ancient Egyptian techniques used to carve obelisks. This particular obelisk is believed to have belonged to Queen Hatshepsut or possibly Queen Nefertiti.
