  • Visitors can explore the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries of Aswan, where much of the red granite used for ancient temples and colossi originated. Carved from the rock, the 1-tonne obelisk was abandoned due to a discovered crack, and qualified Egyptologist guides are available to explain the carving process and the reasons for its abandonment.

  • The Philae Temple was relocated to its current location when the construction of the High Dam led to rising Nile waters. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, this temple offers a beautiful setting on the river, landscaped to match its original site.   • For a memorable experience, visitors will be picked up early morning from their hotel in Aswan for a trip to Abu Simbel. Here, they can marvel at the two Temples of Abu Simbel, considered masterpieces of Ancient Egypt. The first Temple of Ramses II is dedicated to four universal gods. In contrast, the second Temple of Queen Nefertari, also known as the Temple of Hathor, reflects the grandeur of the New Kingdom. The symbolism present in the temples brings together Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the God of the Sun.

    We had a wonderfull time, our driver mohammed is an amazing guy and the tourguides are also really helpfull. They can tell you everything you would like to know. The trip overall was perfect.

    We saw so much of the country

    My partner and I had an incredible 11-day trip to Egypt. We spent three days relaxing at a beach hotel in Hurghada and then went on an 8-day tour with Landious Travel. During those eight days, we saw so much of the country. We spent three days exploring Luxor, including all the important temples, then three days in Aswan with a trip to Abu Simbel, and finally two days in Cairo, where we saw the pyramids, museum, and market. We also visited some incredible temples like the Falcon Temple in Edfu and Dendera and had some unique experiences where we almost had the places to ourselves. We had a private tour with Landious Travel, which meant we travelled with a tour guide and a driver in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus, so we had plenty of space. We were provided with cool drinks, and our lunches were organized at excellent restaurants, offering vegetarian and meat options. The drivers were safe and steady, and our tour guides were knowledgeable and accommodating. We had plenty of time for sightseeing and even relaxed at the hotels. In addition to sightseeing, we visited local markets with our tour guide and shared some tea or coffee. Overall, the trip was a big success! I highly recommend Landious Travel because their pre-trip organization was professional and personal. They communicate well in English through email or phone (WhatsApp) to answer any questions. After our beach holiday, we got to see so much of Egypt in just a week, and we feel that Landious Travel's local connections in Egypt made all the difference. Thank you so much for everything!

    Exceptional tour to Abu Simbel

    I recently spent 14 wonderful nights in Hurghada and had an incredible experience. Landious Travel ensured that our group of 6 had a memorable trip with their professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and competitive pricing. I can't recommend this company enough to visit Cairo, Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo Temples, Philae Temple, and Abu Simbel with exceptional guides and safe drivers. All the guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The hot air balloon ride in Luxor, the Sahara Desert quad safari, and the Orange Bay activities (snorkelling, sofa, and banana rides) were fantastic. Landious, who organized our tours, was terrific and kept us updated to ensure everything went smoothly. We will be using this company again and highly recommend them to our friends and relatives. I am typically very critical, but I couldn't find anything tailored to perfection. Thank you for making our first trip to Egypt unique and so memorable. We will be back!

    I had the most incredible two-day trip from Marsa Alam to Aswan and Abu Simbel! The organization and support were exceptional, and I visited all the places I had dreamed of, including Abu Simbel and Philae Temple. Our tour guide was genuinely excellent, captivatingly bringing the area's history and culture to life. The punctuality and flexibility of our guide and driver made the experience even more memorable.
