What To Expect

  • During the day tour, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby. The tour will begin with a visit to the magnificent Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. These ancient structures are considered some of the oldest architectural marvels among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Cheops, is particularly notable for having stood the test of time. It is believed to have been constructed as the final resting place of the revered Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu around 2560 BC, taking an impressive 14 to 20 years to complete. Situated on the Giza Plateau, the Great Pyramid is a must-see landmark of ancient Egypt. Additionally, the equally remarkable pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure can be found nearby. Adjacent to these structures are the more minor but significant queens' pyramids, which served as the tombs for Khufu's wives and sisters.
  • Stop for a panoramic view of the pyramids.
  • The Egyptian Museum in downtown Cairo was constructed in 1901 by Khedive Abbas Helmi II. The façade of the museum proudly displays the first two initials of his name, A.H., serving as a reminder of its rich history. With the contributions of renowned Egyptologists such as Petri, Marriete, and Maspero, this museum has become one of the largest in the world, housing a vast collection of over 120,000 artefacts. Situated overlooking the iconic square, named initially "Ismaileya" Square, it was later renamed "Al Tahrir Square," meaning Liberation Square. This square holds great significance as it was the site of the Egyptian Revolution on January 25, 2011, and its subsequent wave on June 30, 2013.

    I highly recommend Landious Travel

Posted by Joanna Potts on 2nd Jul 2024

I highly recommend Landious Travel for all your excursion needs. They were always professional and answered all our questions, and I had many of them. Their prices were competitive, and we booked private trips to Cairo-Pyramids & Luxor-Valley of the Kings. We also enjoyed a full-day quad safari, visited a Bedouin village, went on camel rides, and went on a boat trip to Dolphin House.

I want to recommend Landious Travel for its exceptional service. Before our departure to Egypt, I submitted an inquiry through their website and was promptly contacted by the Landious team via WhatsApp. Communication with the company was consistently smooth and effortless. Our trip to Cairo was meticulously planned, with a punctual pick-up at 1:15 AM. Our guide awaited us when we arrived at 7:30 AM. Her expertise and delightful sense of humour added to our experience. We had ample time to take photos. The morning comprised visits to the Cairo Museum, followed by lunch, and concluded with the Pyramids and Sphinx. We returned to the hotel at 8:30 PM. I sincerely thank our drivers and guide for facilitating a wonderful day.

    Unforgettable tours in Egypt

Posted by Angela Kinsey on 25th Jun 2024

We booked two amazing trips from Hurghada: one to Cairo and one to Luxor and Aswan. Everything was just perfect: the communication, the transfers, the tour guides, the meals, and the hotel stays. We were taken care of at all times. I don’t think I’ve ever been on a tour where everything was so perfectly coordinated. Thank you, Landious Travel, for the unforgettable days in Egypt.

My first trip to Egypt was a mix of excitement and worry about the food and safety. However, Landious Travel surpassed all my expectations and made it exceptionally memorable. They provided everything we needed at a reasonable price, from arranging a private driver for me and my wife to delivering an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide. We explored the ancient wonders of Egypt, such as the pyramids of Giza, and indulged in fantastic local cuisine at carefully selected locations. We felt completely safe throughout the trip, which was a huge relief. If we ever return to Egypt, we'll no doubt choose Landious Travel again. It happened just as we had hoped

Posted by Catherine McBroom on 25th Jun 2024

We departed from our hotel at 2:00 a.m. Our driver was exceptionally punctual, reserved, and kind. He even prepared drinks and snacks for us, which was thoughtful. We arrived at the pyramids around 8:00 a.m. and met our guide, who was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable. The guide also captured some beautiful photos of us during our visit. After our time at the pyramids, we had a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Later, our guide provided us with another fantastic tour of the Egyptian museum. After that, we enjoyed a brief boat trip on the Nile. The return journey seemed to fly by, and we arrived back at the hotel at 8:15 p.m. Overall, the day was enriching, and we gained many meaningful insights and experiences!
