The temple depicts scenes of Ptolemaic rulers and includes a sanatorium dedicated to the goddess Hathor, a goddess of healing.
  • The Temple of Hathor is one of the most well-preserved antiquity sites in Egypt today and is an excellent example of traditional Pharaonic architecture. The Temple of Hathor was built primarily during the Ptolemaic Dynasty, which was a period of Greek rule in Egypt. However, the construction of the temple was completed under the Roman emperor Trajan, who is depicted on the walls of the complex making offerings to Hathor. The temple complex also includes a monumental gateway, constructed by Trajan as well as Domitian, another Roman emperor.

Luxor Temple Tour

An ancient sanctuary surrounded by honking taxis, touts, and strolling families, Luxor Temple’s grandeur has endured more than 3,000 years on the East Bank of the Nile. Linked to Karnak Temple via the Avenue of Sphinxes, Luxor Temple boasts soaring colonnades, elaborate columns, statues, and images of Amenhotep III and Ramses II.

Medinet Habu Tour

On Luxor’s West Bank, Ramses III built his magnificent mortuary temple with intricate relief carvings and shrines.     The driver and guide arrived promptly at our hotel in Safaga, ready to take us on our private excursion. As we boarded the comfortable minibus, we were immersed in the fascinating history of ancient Egypt. The guide shared captivating details about the first cities and the pharaohs, enriching our experience. Upon arrival at the temple, we relished the rare opportunity to explore without crowds, allowing us to appreciate every detail undisturbed. The guide was knowledgeable and attentive, catering to our questions and ensuring the children were engaged. We were grateful for the guide's assistance in capturing unforgettable moments with our camera. The journey back was equally enjoyable, with refreshments available just as promised.     I want to thank the Landious Travel team for organizing an unforgettable excursion to Dendera. The private day tour to Dendera temple from Hurghada exceeded our expectations, especially with the excellent private tour guide who accompanied us. We had the opportunity to explore the temple of Goddess Hathor, a revered figure associated with healing. The temple was mainly constructed during the Late Ptolemaic period under the rule of Ptolemy XII and Cleopatra VII. Additionally, our journey took us to Luxor, where we marvelled at the grandeur of the Karnak temples, ventured into the Valley of the Kings, admired the stunning Hatshepsut temple, and stood in awe of the Colossi of Memnon before returning to our hotel in Hurghada. It was an enriching and genuinely thrilling experience. The guides did a fantastic job of imparting a wealth of information in an engaging and easily understandable manner.
